This ride is very similar to the riptide ride at Knott's Berry Farm in Orange County but a different name and little changes made it more exciting. Thanks to a five part collaboration of sanctuaries, GFAS - The Global Federation of Sanctuaries and YOU all of the cats were rescued! Max the cougar needed to be transported to Safe Haven Rescue Zoo in Nevada so Big Cat Rescue stepped in to help. The 5500 mile round trip from Tampa to Nevada took 3 staff members over a week to complete at a cost of $0.50 per mile!
