Tiny House Alpaca Thinks She's Human
A MINIATURE alpaca is being hand-raised inside a farmer's house - and the small but mighty creature is ruling the roost. Two-year-old Cody has the run of alpaca farmer Amber Isaac's home, and even sleeps with her in the bedroom. Little Cody has always lived indoors after being abandoned at birth by her mother, and now thinks that Amber, 47, is her mom. At just 52lbs, Cody is half the size of her furry friends. If Mariele, the German Shorthaired Pointer, doesn't have you rolling on the floor, listening to the audience will. Mariele likes to eat in high-class places. She is sitting at the table and is looking forward to getting served. It took just a few training lessons for Mariele to get used to the situation because there is nothing further to do for her as to sit quite comfortable on a cushion and wait patiently for the food to come. Mariele is 12 years old and in younger years she worked as a rescue dog. She loves having new experiences and she is very gentle. The temptation to wolf down sausages and meat would have been too strong for her. So they decided to serve carrots and potatoes which she likes too -- but not too much...
